The Personal Peace Procedure 🕊️
When it comes to healing, many of us don’t realise just how much of our past we are carrying around with us. You’re like a Gucci bag filled with dirty ass rocks in the form of emotional baggage. This can manifest in physical ailments, mental anguish & emotional pain that can feel like it’s holding us back from living our best lives. And let’s be real, it is..
The Personal Peace Procedure (PPP) is an incredibly useful tool created by EFT Founder Gary Craig that helps you to move through your past. It gives you the opportunity to list all of your troubling memories so that you can begin to work through them, using EFT. Let’s take a squizz at why this is such an effective tool for healers, and how it can be used in practice, shall we?
How does the Personal Peace Procedure Work?
① Catalogue Your Sh*t
The PPP is designed to help people clear away unresolved negative emotions from their past, which can be done without having to go into too much detail or reliving old traumas. To begin the process, you make a list of all of your traumatic events—from the large and life-altering moments right down to small annoyances that still give you the ‘ick’ today. This gives you a road map for where your energy needs focusing when using EFT.
② Rate the Intensity
Once this list is complete, you ask yourself two key questions about each event: “What happened?” and “How did I feel?” For each answer, you rate the intensity on a scale from 0-10 (0 being no emotion, 10 being intense). By doing this, you can identify which events have had the most impact on your life and give them the attention they need.
③ Tappa-Tappa-Tappa
You then use the EFT tapping techniques on each event until its intensity has been reduced to 0—or as close as possible—which will help bring emotional resolution and peace of mind. Not sure what the EFT sequence is? Check out this blog post.
The beauty of EFT is that whilst it’s great to have a practitioner to facilitate & hold space for you it’s certainly something you can work through yourself if needed. Making it affordable since it’s free!
But if possible, I do recommend finding an experienced practitioner who understands how powerful this process can be & will ensure that any work undertaken is safe & effective. I do work with client’s privately, however I always encourage everyone to find a practitioner that they align with.
